About Our Telerehab Service

Telerehabilitation or telerehab is the name for physiotherapies that are delivered through a person’s smart tv, computer, or smartphone. The beauty of these sessions is that they can be delivered to anyone, anywhere. There are very few limitations when it comes to telerehab.

The sessions are delivered using a video conferencing service, such as Zoom so that both client and therapist can see each other. This ensures the client can clearly see what is being asked of them and the therapist can ensure exercises are performed in the correct, safe way.

VIM Health offers several different types of telerehab including group sessions and one to one therapy. Before any course of therapy is started you will have an initial assessment, a therapy plan put together, and help to get you set up ready for your first session, should you need it. All sessions are delivered by fully qualified therapists.

Who Is The Telerehab Service For?

Telerehab can be used by a wide range of people no matter where they are on their health journey. From people with sports injuries to people recovering from strokes, there is a range of therapies available that can be carried out through telerehab.

Telerehab can be used by clients that are not able to travel to our clinic or may be isolating for health reasons, this technology makes therapy accessible to everybody, no matter their circumstances. This form of therapy can also be used in conjunction with our home visit service for clients that need an increased number of sessions. Our in-clinic clients can also use the service for days they aren’t attending our clinic in person. Remember – your health, your way.
