This type of physiotherapy aims to help you manage pain, avoid further injury, and maximise the amount of independence you experience. Patients seeking this type of therapy commonly present with neck and back pain that hasn’t been solved by rest.

At VIM Health we use a range of therapies to treat necks, backs and joints. Each course of treatment will be tailored to the unique issues you are presenting with, your current levels of ability and what you want to achieve. Soft tissue physiotherapy treatment can include hands-on manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, or bespoke exercise plans.
The aim of this therapy could be to improve mobility and your ability to do everyday tasks (bending, walking etc), and our therapists will also give you advice on pain management and how to avoid further injury/deterioration.

  • Increase/improve mobility

Who Is This Type Of Physiotherapy For?

Our musculoskeletal physiotherapists can help you with a wide range of joint and muscle issues, and recovery from surgery or injury. We can also help you manage already diagnosed conditions that affect the joints and muscles.

Our therapists are here to help with injuries to muscles, ligaments or tendons to aid recovery and prevent reoccurrence. We can also help you manage long term conditions such as arthritis to help with pain and inflammation.
VIM soft tissue physiotherapy, combined with other therapies can also help people with post-surgery rehabilitation journeys (complex and polytrauma physiotherapy).
