What is the SaeboMAS mini?

The Saebo MAS Mini is a portable, zero-gravity mobile arm support designed for individuals with weakened shoulder and elbow control. It helps lighten the weight of the arm so individuals can move more freely, perform tasks, and practise exercises with less fatigue.

Who Can Benefit From Using it?

This device supports people:

  • Recovering from stroke or brain injury
  • With neurological conditions (such as MS, spinal cord injury)
  • Experiencing shoulder or elbow weakness, fatigue, or pain
  • Needing support to perform daily tasks (such as feeding, grooming, writing)

How it works

Tension levels can be customised (more or less support) as strength changes. Movement is possible in multiple planes (lifting, reaching, rotating) to match functional activities. It also includes a table mount, adjustable height, and comfortable arm cuffs/attachments.

Using the Saebo MAS Mini may lead to:

    • Greater ease in performing daily tasks (such as reaching, eating, grooming)
    • Reduced effort and compensation, allowing more repetitions
    • Improved motor control, strength and range of motion
    • Increased independence in exercise and rehabilitation
    • Less need for manual assistance from carers or therapists
