VR Room and Therapy Games

At VIM we have a specially designed VtR room with body weight support harnesses. Through this space, we can use a range of VR (Virtual Reality), AR (augmented reality) and classic games to deliver exciting new rehabilitation tools. We can also utilise this space for tele-rehab and online classes.

The VR Room provides a new, engaging approach to rehabilitation by combining gaming and exercise. Users follow fun exercise games on screen whilst a sensor monitors movement and provides real-time feedback.

Available as part of your therapy package here at our clinic, or to use at home.

Rehabilitation is hard but using therapeutic VR and gamifying the process helps to keep you engage and track your progress.

Who Can Benefit from this kind of Therapy?

VR therapy is ideal for a range of people undergoing rehabilitation. From people recovering from a stroke to people that have had traumatic brain injuries. The technology provides something for everyone, at any stage of rehabilitation and across various parts of the body. It is also suitable for people with condition such as MS or Parkinsons disease.
