At VIM Health we understand the beneficial relationship between body and mind. Rather than addressing physical health separately to mental health, where possible, we like to take a holistic approach to patients’ wellbeing.

Run by Georgie, Vim Health’s associate ‘Time For The Mind’ provides support to both clients, their families and carers. With mindfulness at it’s core, Time For The Mind offers skills training in breath body awareness to help manage anxiety and stress and to offer deep relaxation.

Your treatment with us may involve sports therapy, massage, movement analysis, strength and conditioning exercise, re-education and mindful health and wellbeing.

Mindful breath body work is gentle yet robust training. Not only do these sessions help patients in the moment but, significantly, they offer a set of life long skills that can be accessed at any time outside of the rehabilitation setting. Investing in mindful health and wellbeing offers a greater sense of self reliance and self care.

The benefits are wide ranging and include:

    ·       Assists with concentration and coordination

    ·       Decreases experience of physical pain

    ·       Better quality of sleep

    ·       Boosts the immune system

    ·       Promotes a positive outlook

    ·       Positive outlook

    ·       Raises energy levels

    Who is it for?

The goal for Mind Body Health & Wellbeing sessions is to offer them to all attendees either individually or in small groups. All sessions are bespoke and tailored to individual needs. Sessions help us relate differently to the world as we find it, in our minds, bodies and environments. They encourage objectivity, gentle acceptance and compassion. They also help with returning to activities and events previously enjoyed.

Additionally, Time For The Mind offers:

      • Time to Listen sessions for families and carers of VimHealth patients. These is a held, intentional listening space that encourages conversation and offers compassionate understanding and support.
      • Hosted wellbeing events to encourage community with like-minded participants.

      Please note all sessions:

      • Can be blended to be in-person and online
      • Are held in confidence and without judgement
